Sorry man, I don't use anything with NTFS. You may want to look at your /etc/fstab.

Hey Manchicken,

I just upgraded from Kubuntu Edgy to Feisty. Did it over the internet. Seemed to go smoothly except the installer crashed at the very end - it had just searched for unsupported software and reported it to me and I clicked on remove and then it just hung for a while and then reported a crash. Anyway system seems to work although I haven't checked everything. Most annoying thing right now is the fact that my two external hard drives (ntfs) were not mounted. I've been to the forums but the suggestions there don't seem to resolve the problem. I was really looking forward to being able to write to those drives after upgrading. And it looks like they added that capability in Feisty but the darn things don't even mount. Do you have any idea(s) what's behind this? I have read that some people have even tried a clean install and it didn't help. They were mounted automatically in Edgy (although I could not write to them). What's going on, manchicken?

Thanks.
