"It's ****ing crap" says David St. Hubbins, an original band member, clearly emotional about the selection. Spinal Tap management explain that Tay will inject just the right talent need to propel the band's upcomming tour "Skid Like a Mark", to levels exceeding the "Break Like the Wind" tour. The ever excitable Nigel Tufnel explains, "We're very excited about Tay, and look forward to getting him some better glasses and showing him how we grow our hair long so it can swing and what not...". Nigel goes on to explain that the band will work with Tay expand his vocal range, using the as yet unproven testicular compression and large bottom boots. Near the end of the press conference, bass player Derek Smalls threw his arm around Tay and professed "Tay is the hair of the dog you see. Skid Like a Mark *IS* his groove.
