So for some reason the McCain campaign sent me an email inviting me to a rally they had at Lambeau Field yesterday.  This email is so terribly designed it looked like someone in MS Works could have come up with it in a matter of minutes.  They even had clipart quality US-flag banner trim at the top, it was truly unprofessional.

This makes me wonder if all graphic designers are democrats, or if the GOP is just out of touch with good quality email campaign design as well as the economy, the war, healthcare, and the environment.  Take a look and see for yourself…

In all fairness, I’m going to post here a vastly superior email I received from the Barack Obama campaign.  Please note how this email looks like it was designed some time post-1997, and how not everything is clipart, and that in keeping with modern graphic design trends and good document formatting–which one could learn in a single semester at my favorite college, Parkland College–things are not aligned completely to the center.
