Better John McCain than Ron Paul.
So, I haven’t done a political article in a little while. This is a short one.
I’d like to congratulate John McCain–like he cares–in his presumptive Republican party nomination that he mathematically clenched last night. As someone who was concerned about the possibility of whack-jobs like Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee getting the nod, McCain seems like the least of all of the GOP evils.
That said, John McCain is still an evil. John McCain has participated in the force relocation of hundreds of native Americans, and is determined to keep using the United States military to continue military campaigns that will marginalize us in the world and continue siphoning money from more immediate needs such as education, healthcare, paying off debt, and reducing the damage that our society does to our environment.
While Obama and Hillary go back and forth McCain is bound to get a head start. I’m okay with either Hillary or Barack, but right now it seems as though we won’t know who the nominee is until the night of the convention.
