That forum post doesn't sound horribly conclusive. The stories about his old news letter sound a lot more interesting though, you should look that up.

Actually, I'm making Ron Paul out to be a Nazi because he's a white nationalist. He's even been mentioned as having participated in the American National Socialist Workers' Party. Last I checked, that was the nice name for American nazis. Even the neo-nazis recognize this guy as being one of their supporters, not just them being some of his. Check this out: http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=63682

Firstly, as a libertarian, I disagree with those tactics, and I disagree with any notion of using the government (or mobs) to force Fox to put Ron Paul onto the debate. However, some libertarians seem to support this on the (to me, very weak) grounds that the debates are government managed or sponsored, or something, and thus should be fair to all candidates. You should know that Ron Paul's supporters aren't the first. A similar thing happened with Michael Badnarik, the Libertarian candidate last time around: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=40843.
And it wasn't just this protest, he was trying legal avenues as well. Man, the more I remember it.. this guy was a total ass-tard. Ron Paul is miles ahead of this guy.

And of course threatening Sean Hannity is wrong, though I must admit I sympathize with the mob, because Sean Hannity is a jerk (The conservatives I know agree with this, in fact; he's not fair to Alan Colmes.) But I agree that it's wrong to threaten him.

But that aside, here's a couple important things. I think that most libertarians like Ron Paul. I think you're way off base on this; given the political landscape, Ron Paul is the best choice for libertarians BY FAR. There's only a couple issues of ideological difference or at least question. This isn't a lesser of evils thing. The evils are very small here. For one thing, the Libertarian Party asked Ron Paul to seek the nomination of the party. http://www.lp.org/fp/article_546.shtml Does your little sister not like Ron Paul either?

I can see your problems with him, and that's fine, but I think they should be on the level of nitpicking, or at least saying why it's a dealbreaker for you. It seems you're making him out to be a nazi just because he has a few nazi supporters.

Anthony: I'm sorry that you feel that coercion is a valid way to change someone's opinion. This sort of tactic seems to be common among Ron Paul supporters. What Ron Paul supporters are doing is unacceptable and each and every one of those mob members should be arrested for disrupting the peace and assault.

They have committed an act of violence against Sean Hannity and should be ashamed of themselves. It is not okay to act like that, Ron Paul supporters should be apologizing to Mr. Hannity for this offense. This is not how civilized people behave.

They didn't form an angry mob. They were a peaceable mob, until they saw one of the warmongering, lying, two-faced Fox bigots walking down the street.

How would any group of people feel if they saw someone they held responsible for cheating and distorting the truth to fit the agenda of the fascist elite? Yes, they were angry, but they did not lay a finger on the man.

Hannity and his Fox co-henchmen are responsible for lying the United States into an illegal war with Iraq. They want to do the same with Iran. Hannity and his kind are the scum of the earth.

Your whole article reeks of hypocrisy and pro-elitist boot licking. Ron Paul's supporters are very passionate about freedom, liberty and ending the murder of innocents in Iraq and elsewhere.

Please get off your high horse and think about what is at stake if we get another elitist warmongering stooge in the Whitehouse. McCain wants another 100 years in Iraq. Do you?
