Ron Paul’s is the First Campaign to Hijack for Publicity
So, I’m reading lots of reports of Ron Paul’s campaign utilizing a global network of hijacked personal computers to distribute spam and spread their “revolution” horse-crap. So far, I’ve found that many–not all–Ron Paul supporters are not only ignorant and loud-mouthed, but that they’ve also got a tendency to support their candidate to an extreme that is both dangerous and overbearing. This is the same mentality that has fathers beating coaches at little league games.
I propose that if Ron Paul has any sense of ethics, he come out with a very strong-worded statement correcting his supporters. If it’s proven that he has any ties to any of this behavior–which may or may not be the case–then I would call for his withdrawal from the race, and resignation from his current legislative position.
Here’s the link, this stuff is just ridiculous. http://www.wired.com/politics/security/news/2007/10/paul_bot

I know you don’t like Ron Paul, but I think your article and Wired’s article is slanted against him, implying that he had this in mind (which he may or may not have).
That said, I’m with you that he should denounce it. Though I don’t think he would, he doesn’t seem to have a history of doing that kind of thing.
